Overview

Background

VoIPshield develops specialized technology that protects modern Voice-over-IP networks against attacks from cyber criminals.  These attacks exploit security vulnerabilities inadvertently built into enterprise VoIP systems by vendors such as Cisco, Avaya, Nortel and Microsoft.  A vulnerability is a design or implementation flaw in a VoIP system that can be exploited by a hacker with malicious intentions, including extortion through service outage threats, industrial espionage through call recording, or identity theft through the stealing of sensitive customer information.

Enterprise Products

• VoIPaudit™ A VoIP Vulnerability Assessment (VA) System designed to detect and document security vulnerabilities in VoIP networks.  Can also be used to perform Penetration Tests.
• VoIPguard™ A VoIP Intrusion Prevention System (VIPS) designed to inspect VoIP traffic and prevent malicious packets from penetrating the VoIP infrastructure.
• VoIPinspector™ A PBX Configuration Change Analyzer, scheduled for field trials in 2Q09.
• VoIPmonitor™ A PBX Event Monitoring System, scheduled for field trials in 1Q09.

Professional Services

VoIPshield security professionals help enterprises secure their VoIP infrastructure, and assist VoIP product developers in adding security to their applications.  We offer a variety of specialized services and training courses for end users and security practitioners.

Security Research

VoIPshield Laboratories is the research division of VoIPshield Systems Inc.  We specialize in zero-day vulnerabilities research on VoIP network components.  The results of our research is built into our products.  We also provide custom research services to VoIP device vendors and security products developers.

Channels

VoIPshield sells its OEM products and custom security research directly.  We sell our enterprise products and and professional services directly and through Authorized Solution Partners.
