Rick is a security industry veteran with 10+ years experience running software companies. Prior to joining VoIPshield, Rick was President & CEO of Symbium Corp., a company doing pioneering work in applying telecom architectures and principles to IT systems management and security. Before Symbium, Rick was President and CEO of Certicom Corp., where he oversaw a 25X growth in revenue and valuation, and took the company public on Nasdaq. Certicom is a developer of wireless and wireline security technology, headquartered in Silicon Valley during Rick's tenure. Certicom's customers included enterprises, telecom carriers, telecom infrastructure vendors, and device manufacturers. Prior to Certicom, Rick was EVP Business Development for Geoworks Inc., a developer of embedded operating systems. Rick traveled extensively in Asia where he forged strategic relationships with global consumer electronics companies. Rick started his career at IBM Corporation, where he held various senior sales, marketing and general management positions. Before leaving IBM Canada for Silicon Valley, Rick held the position of Country Manager, PC Software, Canada. As CTO & VP Engineering at VoIPshield Systems Bogdan is responsible for overall Company's product and technology directions. Bogdan is widely recognized as a one of VoIP security leaders and his work has been published in outlets including ISS Journal, ISSA Journal and Internet Telephony. He also has frequently presented at tradeshows including RSA, Interop and VoiceCon. Bogdan has over 15+ years of strategic and technology management experience in high tech technologies companies. Before founding VoIPshield, Bogdan was a founder and CTO at Linmor Technologies (TSX:LIR), performance & network management product vendor where he supervised all the aspects of product management, development and support. Linmor's customers included large service providers, enterprises and governments. Bogdan also held various engineering and research positions at Nortel Networks, Microtel Pacific Research and University of Ottawa. He holds a number of patents. Andrey heads a team of security researchers in Ottawa, Canada and Chernivtsy, Ukraine using proprietery tools and techniques to discover previously-unknown vulnerabilities in commercial VoIP products. Andrey received his doctorate in Physics and Mathematics, and was named Chief of Computer Laboratory at the National University of Chernivtsy, Ukraine.
