VoIPshield Named 2008 Cool Vendor by Leading Analyst FirmVoIPshield selected for the Cool Vendors report in Infrastructure ProtectionMay 25, 2008Ottawa, CA – VoIPshield Systems Inc. has been named a Cool Vendor in Infrastructure Protection for 2008 by global analyst firm Gartner Inc. The list is a yearly roundup of interesting, new and innovative vendors, products and services in various categories. Gartner expects these vendors to “… provide technology opportunities for users and business opportunities for vendors and investors, as they open new markets and expand existing ones.” VoIPshield was one of five global Cool Vendors in Infrstructure Protection. In selecting the cool vendors, Gartner highlighted the challenges CISOs and CTOs face in light of the constant changes in enterprise communication. According to Gartner, “significant changes in the enterprise technology and threat environments, including the growing use of IP telephony and consumer devices, are driving innovative new approaches to infrastructure protection”.
