Overview

VoIPshield Labs research team performs primary research in identifying and categorizing VoIP-specific vulnerabilities and exploits. The results of this research is compiled in the company's vulnerabilities, exploits and signatures database, which forms the intellectual property component of all the company's VoIP security application products.

VoIPshield's database contains previously-undiscovered vulnerabilities and exploits associated with:

• the SIP protocol
• the Nortel family of VoIP products and protocols
• the Cisco family of VoIP products and protocols
• the Avaya family of VoIP products and protocols
• the Microsoft family of VoIP products and protocols
  

The database is built into our products and updates are provided monthly to our customers through the VoIPshield UpdateTM download. We believe our database contains the most comprehensive collection of VoIP vulnerabilities, threats and signatures available, giving our customers the most comprehensive protection for their VoIP systems possible.

In addition to the work our research team carries out to enhance our products, they also make up the core of the VoIPshield Professional Services Group which was formed to provide industry leading support to end users of enterprise VoIP systems as well as the vendors. The Services Group works directly with clients as well as in conjunction with our Consulting Partners on engagements around the world.
